Ray Porreca of Entertainment Buddha writes: "Presented in 16:9 with and updated controls for those who cannot accept the brilliance of tank controls, REHD feels as though it is equal parts a love letter to survival horrors golden years and a gift from the gaming gods."
Before starting this review OXCGN must thank Nintendo for playing host to one of the greatest remakes on their Gamecube system 13 years ago. Resident Evil was simply jaw dropping its visuals melted your eyes and brought players a sense of realism that had not been experienced before. And even by todays standards Resident Evil can keep up with the graphic powerhouse games of 2015. Capcom is to thank for this; by implementing pre-rendered backgrounds they brought a sense of realism that could not otherwise be attained at the time.
